Mann Matharu is an award winning author. He lives in and was born in London, in 1979.

His debut novella, The Monk of Lantau, won the Book Excellence Award 2017 in Philosophy. It was also recognised for it’s design, high quality writing and reader appeal.

The Monk of Lantau is Mann’s gift to those who are searching for peace. It is an inspirational fiction work that honours the journey our lives take through self-discovery to attain an existence steeped in balance, compassion, forgiveness and enlightenment.

He has appeared on several BBC Radio shows and is a regular guest on the Sikh Channel, where he discusses the Art of Positive Thinking and spreading the message of attaining inner-peace in order to live a more fulfilled life.

Mann is widely recognised for his entrepreneurial flair, as he has set up and continues to run and manage several businesses. His contributions to society, culture and philanthropy run much deeper and stem from a personal philosophy to live a compassionate and grateful life.

In his desire to help others, he has attained the privilege status of Reiki Master Teacher. He uses this art to heal individuals of their physical, emotional and mental imbalances through the power of positive energy.

He is also a certified Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and uses NLP to help others to enhance their productivity in their personal and professional lives.

In order to live a more compassionate life himself, Mann has set up several self-funded charitable initiatives and supports various charity organisations both in the UK and India.
